Been here a few times. The food is ok. Not very warm though on any occasion. Not good enough. Staffed by young kids. Table not set for when we got there as per picture. Had to ask for everything tonight. To order. Cutlery. More drinks. Bill. Just not good service. The restaurant is not that clean. The floor was covered in all sorts. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. We didn't eat till 5ish. A table near us had food on and a laptop and the bench had food on as per picture. One toilet for whole restaurant. Dirty. Overall a lot of improvements needed.
We had Sunday’s dinner at Wagamama. The local was very clean and cosy, waitresses were so nice but food… we had vegan “ribs” as a starter. It was totally burned and bitter. I had a yasai yaki soba v as a main meal. It wasn’t nice, no spices and taste at all. The same story with my partner’s yaki soba, he ordered it without prawns, just a chicken. He had 3 very tiny chicken bites in his plate!! No taste at all. There is only one thing which we both loved - high five and positive juice. Absolutely amazing drinks.
This is a nice restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating of my milk allergy. The menu is a little reduced at the moment due to what they said was a nationwide issue with hiring staff. That being said, the food that was still on the menu is up to its usual standard. There’s a limited choice of desserts if you have a milk allergy - but they managed to cobble something together that was quite nice for me. I’d recommend the firecracker chicken if you’re looking for something spicy.
The menu is rather confusing, but I think we managed to make good choices. The food came out really quickly, which was really appreciated because we were really hungry by the time we got there. Also the two dishes that we ordered were really tasty and reasonably good value. My biggest criticism would be the level of noise, it has an open kitchen so the dinners had to complete with this, added to which one lady, not especially near to us, had a particularly loud voice and seemed to like the sound of it, she barely took pause for breath for about an hour and a half. So I'd say that they'd definitely benefit from the addition of some partitions.
Our first time here, and it was a wonderful experience. Staff were lovely and had a great knowledge of the food. I really enjoyed my duck dish. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Wheelchair accessibility: Absolutely no problem accommodating me in my wheelchair. Entrance is large and my electric chair went in with no problem.
Lovely food… I am well aware that in most Wagamamas or at least any I have been to that not all the food comes out at the same time but to have a 30 minute gap between you and the person you’re dining with just seems slow. Other tables came and went before my friend got her food. Kept being lent over so cutlery we weren’t using could be given to different tables. When ordering another two dish to take away, after waiting a further 15 minutes, only one came out and we are still sat here waiting for the 2nd because they got the order wrong. Staff seem nice enough but when they get busy the level of service definitely decreases.
Servers lovely. Place is run by kids. Long wait for food and disappointed. As regular Wagamam goers we are aware food comes out at random times but the wait between dishes was ridiculous. Food was undercooked and presented poorly
Disappointed with food. I ordered ramen with steak. The steak was perfect but it was served with noodles of course which is fine and raw red onion. And that's all. Really? !! Could do better! !! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available Parking: Paid Large parking. Can be busy as there are other restaurants/ cinema.
Poor customer service. Completely Wrong order received and the response was “speak to deliveroo”. It took over an hour for that order to come if I wait for deliveroo to sort it I won’t be eating till midnight! If Wagamama employ deliveroo as their delivery carrier then they have to take some responsibility to keep the customer happy when it goes wrong. They should be able to contact the driver surely? We all know deliveroo are naff but by affiliating with them wagamama are becoming naff too. Off to McDonald’s it is!
Underwhelmed it didn't live up to my expectations, blunt chicken noddle Ramen. The only thing I enjoyed was the gin drink, it was massive.Food: 2/5
