Famed pizza - and for a reason. Best crispy pizza I've ever had. So tasty - we had the cheese pizza and the picante. Both excellent.nnWe were walk in - normally queue for an hour before serving time 12pm, 2, 4, 6 due to his busy it is. Recommend booking ahead if you can! Else walk in is OK if you're happy to wait!
What a treat! My daughter booked us for a Friday night “pie” a few weeks back. And thank god she did because it was a full house and they couldn’t take walk ins. Plus the people serving were amazingly nice and the crowd was simply having fun. We got to order our pizzas / pies and the menu was short but oh so sweet in difference, class and taste. We chose a thin and crispy one plus 3 “normal” ones and with toppings like “tequila hot sauce” , how can you not be wowed ofc your feet? Plus, they have a “secret surprise” - their garlic dip….who would have thought???? It’s simply fantabulous!!!! I cannot recommend this place enough - book it, go there and enjoy!!!
I came here on a weekday to avoid long queues and try the famous pizzas from Crisp Pizza W6. I am happy to say that the trip was worth it.nnThe pub is small and cozy and has some comfortable seats outside where you can eat. If the sun is out like on the day when I went you could easily spend the whole day there. It will eventually get crowded so it is worth coming early for walk-ins. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very laidback.nnI ordered the Vecna and Picante pizzas and they were delicious and with lots of flavour. I really loved the simple and yet great combination of ingredients. Each pizza comes with a free dip, which is also nice to have. The pizzas are thin, airy and crispy, the tomato sauces are tangy, and the dough is flavoursome. The toppings distribution is very decent too.nnThe pizzas here are in my opinion some of the best pizzas you can have in London. The Vecna pizza is a must-have and is worth the trip on its own.
This is a great pizza normal base, did not have a grandma. Unique dough and super fresh tomato base. On the crispier end of the NYC style spectrum but not past the limit of no return. The walk-in queue is painful on the weekend but good on the weekdays and bookings are 3 months out but its what comes with good product. The actual service is good notwithstanding the variable waiting times.nnThey need to expand operations! Would eat this often because this quality of NYC pizza cant really be found elsewhere.
Came to check the pizza hype. I pre-ordered through WhatsApp two weeks earlier, it was super easy, to the point where I was skeptical it would work. But as we arrived, we were able to skip all the queue of walkin people and went straight to the bar order. There our names were cross referenced with a list and we ordered 3 pizzas which were ready about 20min later.nnHonestly these pizzas are special and trust me I’ve been on a mission to find London’s best pizza given we have pizza every Saturday. First the Vecna is an absolute treat, the combo of honey and pepperoni just works to my surprise; never had such flavours. Then the N’Duja was delicious, beautifully spicy and crispy; the one that tastes maybe the least special but can rival any Nduja pizza out there. Thirdly, the Picante which is the one with the spiraling pesto. We enjoyed it but it was almost too cheesy and definitely not spicy. Interesting flavours though. We paid £45 for three pizzas and had them for takeaway to enjoy under the sun on the Thames Walk. Can’t wait to come again, well worth the hype!
