Top notch boozer. Guinness was lovely and at 6.60 a pint, for the area is great value, chilled place with a fire and great aesthetics. Not many places left in Hammersmith like this, really friendly and down to earth guy Daniel behind the bar, hes an efficient and quick bar tender that should be up for a promotion. had a good chat and he still kept bar going on his own. Would come back in a heart beat if in the area again. Used to have 'the best london style pizza' not sure what specifics categorise a london pizza but its called crisp and has a new store near oxford street the kitchen has moved from the pub to there unfortunately. One of the best authentic English pub I've been in for a while. The 6 pound guiness does sway my opinion some what but cool place. I had a lovely experience cant big up dan enough top barman and nice guy , welcoming and talkative. Will be back for sure. Nice cosy atmosphere which im sure would be great for the cold winter nights .
Hidden behind The Chancellors pub is a pizza gem worth planning for: Crisp W6. We came for the pizza and stayed for the atmosphere: laid-back, buzzing, and perfect for a sunny Friday with friends.nnWe tried the Vecna, and it’s hands-down my favourite. Expect a perfectly blistered crust, spicy soppressata, and creamy ricotta, like dollops that melt into the sauce. It’s got that addictive balance of crispy, chewy, spicy, and rich. Unreal.nnImportant tip: Pizzas are limited, and the queue gets intense. They don’t serve all day: pizza starts at a specific time check ahead, and if you’re not early, you risk missing out entirely. We saw many people getting turned away once it sold out.nnYou can also grab a beer or Guinness from the bar inside and enjoy your meal at rustic wooden tables in front on the street. Ideal setting for a casual catch-up with friends who really appreciate a good pie.nnEasily one of London’s best pizza spots if you can get your hands on it.
What a great atmosphere at The Chancellors on a Wednesday night! I preordered 2 pizzas: nduja and picante. Being italian I had very high expectations and they were absolutely met! Our favorite was the nduja! The pizzas are very crispy, just like their name, quite oily but it didn’t upset me at all! I really loved them and would absolutely recommend trying ! The wait is quite long even if you preorder, but worth every minute! Lovely staff aswell!
The name says it all- Super crisp pizza. Ordered the Nduja and the Calzone and both were good pizzas. I would’ve preferred that our Nduja wasn’t so charred or is it meant to be that way? Pls open an outlet in North/Central London as getting there is a palaver
This is a lovely place to grab a beer or two and to have pizza. Nevertheless, I think there's a point that MUST be improved. What's the point of being at 2:30pm and telling us we should have a drink that's fine but we must line up until 3pm to order the pizza when already sat up on a table!?!? Couldn't just take our order, allow us to pay and the let us know to pick the pizza whilst having beers on a table of yours and wait until you prepare them? That split our group... Disappointing experience despite amazing pizzas.
