Nice cafe, quite a lot of seats. Beware of it being busy and bursting with kids. Good selection of food and polite hard working staff. Would get 5 stars but slightly over priced.

Find this cafe so variable. Have had a couple of really nice lunches and a couple of really rubbish ones too. Buttermilk chicken was gorgeous. However I've ordered poached eggs on toast. £4.50 2 eggs 1 slice of sour dough which was soaked in vinigery water. On another occasion the kids pasta was inedible by either my son (he ate my soup which was lovely) or myself, was just tepid raw tomatoes in under done linguine, not nice and neither of us is particularly fussy! On both occasions staff have kind of shrugged and apologised. We keep going back as it's so convinent, good range of interesting food and enough good experiences to keep is hopeful but definitely inconsistent. Sorry!

Cappuccino froth top notch. Thick and luscious. Sausage roll was also delicious with plenty of sage in the sausage. Nice that if there's a queue someone takes orders paid by card from the queue without having to reach the till. Update: cappuccino not consistent. Today was practically coffee with milk. 😒

A lovely surprise. Extensive menu and good quality food at a reasonable price for what you're getting

Well priced, great food, reasonable wait at a busy time. Only negative would be the very miserable person on the till. All other staff very friendly. Would recommend the pork and chorizo burger!
