Set in the pretty village of Monyash it's the focal point for visitors. A nice bar with a good choice of cask Ales, nice food and good service. There is a real fire which is great on chilly days after being in the Peak a nice place to unwind. Pity that it has carpets as walkers, runners and cyclists who make up many of the clientèle have to scratch around in a box in the doorway trying to find plastic overshoes that are not ripped hence 4 stars but that aside it's very good.

A lovely welcoming atmosphere, great choice of food. Large portions. Cosy and relaxing. A great local pub for all encludi dog friendly. You can choice to eat in the bar with your dog and if not you can eat in there restaurant.

Went there for dinner last night for a date, the pub has a lovely feel to it. Staff were very attentive, polite and friendly. The food was amazing, we didn't have to wait long and the portion sizes are very generous. Would definitely recommend to others and plan on returning to this place soon.

Great local pub, excellent selection of real ales kept very well. Food very good and plentiful you will struggle to eat a pudding. Bar staff are very efficient and friendly well worth a visit. Roaring real fire and very dog friendly. Wish this was my local
