Very conveniently situated on our way to Chatsworth House. Longer lunch time opening then any other establishment we found in the vicinity, which we greatly appreciated. We were made ever so welcome despite arriving 10 min before lunch time closing. Extremely helpful and kind service and most delicious food. Even our luckiest member of our family polished the plate. Food was arranged in an aesthetically pleasing way and every mouthful was a delight.

The staff are incredibly friendly and seemed genuine when asking how our day had been, which is always refreshing. The food was of a very high standard, and the choices of drinks to go with it was very impressive. The place had some good veggie options too, and caters for all tastes; providing exotic dishes such as pigeon for starter, with some classics like fish and chips for mains. Altogether, this place is somewhere everyone can enjoy, and I bet you won't regret it.

Locally sourced food especially cheeses. We had 7 selection of local cheeses. They are distinctively and lovely taste! Good food... good service.. We would come back again.
