Spent the day attending a friend's wedding. The staff were delightful, courteous and professional! The light snacks being served before the main mean were delicious! Lightly fried finger food and freshly made pimms! The staff during the wedding ceremony itself were lovely, and the serving staff during the main meal were very efficient! The wedding food during the meal absolutely wonderful - tender cuts of meat that literally melt in the mouth. We departed before the evening feast - hog roast! But the photos we were shown by the others who remained show quite the spectacle! All in all a very enjoyable destination and a great place to host a wonderful event

East Lodge is the perfect blend of style, sophistication and friendliness. The food, staff and ambience all combine to make this place the perfect country house hotel and dinning venue. East Lodge is also without doubt the most perfect wedding venue. As I can personally attest to, having married there myself 4 years ago.

I can't give enough credit to the team here at East Lodge, Christian especially. Made my wife's birthday very special by making us feel like the only people in the hotel by his attentive service. We stayed overnight with afternoon tea, evening meal and breakfast, and it was worth every single penny. Even though we weren't there for an event such as wedding, it looks very well prepared for any occasion, with its gardens having some great photo opportunity locations. You are a credit to the leisure and tourism world, and all hotels should take a leaf out of your book. Ant and Rae
