We went for New Year's Day lunch our daughter her fiancé and the future in-laws and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing..well presented and super tasty. Portion sizes were more than adequate and the varied menu catered for all of out tastes. Very reasonable priced food considering the quality that was on the menu. Service was excellent.. polite and attentive...and the pub itself was stunning..open fire and beautiful rustic surroundings. Large carpark and outside seating available.Poppy the dog was welcomed also. Wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend.
Just the best new pub I've visited for a long time. The whole thing. The place is an old Inn 17th century all beams and open fireplace. We went for a birthday on Monday lunchtime this week. The food was great and the dessert The staff were as helpful as you like and the area around the pub the garden etc are well just go and have a look. I'd have been happy to stay in there for the day. It wasn't really warm weather but some people were having a drink outside. We had the dog and that was fine. And if that's not enough... finally they do a loyalty scheme so if you get six "tokens" you get a meal up to £12...I think that's how it works or £12 off your bill next time. Really lovely place
We had an incredible meal here. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The food was absolutely gorgeous! They cater to people with specific dietary requirements as well. They have a separate menu with all the main allergens which was so helpful. The portions were generous, the quality exceptional. The atmosphere was also great and the outside seating had somewhere for kids to play. It was my first time here but won't be my last. I couldn't fault it!!
Had lunch today with my husband here and it was just lovely. Great service, delicious food and the garden is beautiful. Not cheap but worth the money and you get what you pay for. Kids swings and a tractor, huge garden! We sat on the patio in the shade which was perfect. Highly recommend. The pie was beautiful!! Visited Jan 2023 for dinner - still impressed lovely country pub and great food. Prices reflect the quality so not cheap but you get what you pay for in my view.
Great food, service needed to be better, our waitress was superb, but was extremely busy, needed backup. Food and choices absolutely great selection of wines too.
Excellent service in a Cosy country pub atmosphere. Delicious food and friendly staff. Perfect winter roast Sunday session, love a roast with all the veg trimmings and love the small dessert plus hot drink option.
Absolutely stunning location and food , quick prompt service and that extra service with a smile . Staff member Heidi was absolutely out of this world : The food , the ambiance was excellent and food choice . Great value for money ,be sure not to miss this ! Can’t wait to return .
