Story

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Worthing's favourite carvery restaurant.

This is a lovely place with delicious food for a fantastic deal. You definitely need reservations a few days in advance for dinner, but you should be fine without one for lunch except on weekends. Most people get the normal carvery, where you get a plate of four kinds of meat with as much vegetables as you want. Warning for those wanting to try the Yorkie wraps as I did: They are HUGE. The sandwich didn’t even fit on the large plate and was enough to feed 2-3 people. For sandwiches, you can pay £1 extra to be able to fill your plate from the vegetable buffet as well. This place is well-worth going to as long as you don’t plan on eating anything else that day. :) Service was friendly but a bit slow (as to be expected when they’re so busy), it was clean, and the view is decent.

I'm finding this Carvery unclean, tired looking and really not up to their usual standards.  On a recent visit the toilets were cold and unclean, the floor was disgusting.  The carpet in the restaurant was really sticky and dirty.  The vegetable area had food all over it and the gravy area...I just walked away from yuk.  This used to be a regular place for me, but no more.  I'm going else where after that experience.  Shame because the waiting staff are lovely.  The manager is however is rude and generally doesn't have a 'customer service' bone at all.  When I tried to mention the obvious issues I was dismissed and told 'Well we're busy'.  Nice.

Love it here. Always come here when my elderly father comes to visit me. Had two birthdays and a father's day here. Friendly and helpful staff, professional too. Highly recommended

Alisha and Morris were the most friendly members of staff I've experienced in a long time. They made me and wife's visit a absolute delight. Food was great as well. Love those refill drinks.

I would definitely recommend the Toby carvery goring. The service was first class. Being a vegan they had vegan options which were brilliant. The prices were good both for food and drinks which surprised me
