Lovely place. Went for a long late lunch before going to the theatre and it was perfect! Staff were friendly, let you enjoy a lazy lunch without feeling you'd stayed too long or constantly asking if you wanted anything else. We had the charcuterie starter and the sirloin steak off the main menu and the caeser salad with chicken off the specials. Both were really tasty. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!
Food was amazing, only complaint my plate was a little bit small for me = but was really good, I wish they have a calories detail just to know how bit the portions are, but is a personal opinion so I hope they keep doing amazing plates, but some bigger options for lunch at least :Food: 4/5
Gorgeous location! Great to sit outside and watch the sunset with a nice pint. They are expensive pints though! And even more expensive when they charged us for 2 pints instead of the one and half we ordered. Luckily another colleague helped correct it when we went back and clarified. Food was okay. Burger was very dry and the patty thin. Coconut chilli lime clams were vaguely spiced but lacking the vibrant flavours promised. For about £20 each we were expecting a bit more! Also took about 30 mins to serve us once we had ordered. Maybe stick to a drink or two to watch the sunset and then find another place for food.
Very nice place for a drink or dinner and friendly staff. But very limited vegan or gluten-free options. If the weather is nice, they have outside seats on the river side. Great choice for a warm summer day or evening! Vegetarian options: They had two main plant based options and a couple of pb starters. More vegetarian options are available but less vegan ones.
What a location. Gorgeous place to stop by on a sunset walk. Unfortunately, back of the house let me down on my visit, misplaced our order and tool 45min plus to get my pie out. It was delicious and savoury, and front house service tried their best to accommodate. Won't discourage me to come back and enjoy the atmosphere.Food: 4/5
So much potential yet delivery and execution were lacking. Service was shockingly bad. Service had a limited knowledge of beverages what is a pint of bitter?. Kitchen had prepared some great specials but we only found out about them having visited inside we enquired when ordering and nothing offered. The location next to river and design is great, these attributes are the best reasons for visiting. The fish n chips picture is exactly as delivered. The presentation was so underwhelming and a few more chips would not have broken the bank.... alternatively use a smaller plate. This was £140 not well spent.
I came to watch the Euros final on 14/07/24, we didn’t have a good view of the TV to start, but Immanuel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome & also make sure we could see the football action. I’m so grateful for this as it was my brother’s birthday & I wanted him to be able to enjoy the game to the fullest! I love when staff members go above and beyond to make their customers feel special! Thanks Immanuel! 10/10!

Great menu and the beer on tap was delicious. I've been a few times over the years and it really seems to have found its feet now. With lots of riverside pub offerings in the area, it might be easy to overlook The Blue Boat but it's fast becoming my favourite in the area.Food: 5/5
Great lovely pub with a amazing beer garden and lots of space inside also. The food is lovely, the service wonderful and the decor and ambience cracking. They have a lot of choice for food and behind the bar and so its good for everyone and its just opposite the water so adds that special touch on a summer evening.. can go with friends, colleagues or even for a casual date. Highly recommend
