Hidden gem in the Elephant & Castle area!! The food scores high on nutrition and taste and has quite a wide range of options. Is only matched by the smiling staff who serve with patience and efficiency. Is always busy and is so nice to see an independent shop doing so well. There is seemingly limited seating but they have more space across the road at the Wild Fruit cafe. Definitely going back whenever I’m in the area!
Eaten here for lunch a few times. Great portions, very very fairly priced, and genuinely the loveliest staff. Have to also say, the salads they do are absolutely great, as well as the sandwiches. Also recommend having a go on their sausage roll! Great stuff!
Tried the protein box for the first time and it was good food. They did not have any grilled chicken left and had to go with breaded chicken which was also nice. Tried the grilled chicken and it good as well. Well worth the price.
Highly recommended. Great food, well presented. Amazing salads. The staff in the shop are all happy and friendly, which is a really good sign. I go there for my own breakfast/lunch often and regularly use their catering services for meetings large and small. They deliver, and they look after my quirky requests, like putting people's names on their salad boxes. Such a pleasure doing business with them.

I just wanted to write you a very quick email thanking you for the fantastic food you provided for our event on Monday. It was so delicious and was raved about by all the participants of the event. As a small charity who works with vulnerable members of the community it is not unusual for the food we provide at meetings to be the only meal that that particular person will eat that day and it's important to us that the food we provide is both tasty and healthy. And the food you provided definitely was that. It was fantastic. Thank you so very much. Can't wait to order again for our next event. It is a genuine relief to fine a caterer who fits so well with our organisation.
Nice sandwiches but very inconsistent on how much you get! There are defintely some servers to avoid at the sandwich counter as some only give you half the portion of others but charge the same price. Very frustrating.
I never really write reviews, however this place is hands down the best cafe in the area! They have the most amazing sandwiches and salad boxes for such a reasonable price too. The portions are great.. I mean you can’t go wrong! The staff are also so lovely too. I really really recommend going
What can I say, Mustard are genuinely amazing! I’ve been using them for a while now to cater both for smaller monthly team meetings 12 people and also the larger events 50+ people that we’ve been doing post-covid. I only ever get positive feedback about the food – especially the Pastel de Natas! The platters of wraps/sandwiches are a great size and a fab selection for all. I’ve had people who are vegan and gluten intolerant – they’ve been catered for without any problem at all. The process for ordering is SO easy, Chloe is always super responsive to emails and any questions I might have. The deliveries are always on time too. I would 100% recommend for anyone looking to get meetings/events catered for. Also – you know it’s a good place when the lunchtime queue is always out the door!! :-
Great place to get your sandwich fix. Lots of choice for fillings. Separate area for salad boxes and meats. Fresh coffee and tea... Choice of breads or rolls. Pasta. Cakes or cookies. Can get quite busy buts worth the wait. Bread can be toasted too. Egg and bacon or sausage rolls or sandwich. With lots of choice of sauces.
