Delicious food, easy going atmosphere and Will served us well. We loved this neighborhood pub since it wasn't crowded. I am surprised it wasn't packed given how good the food was. Pictures of a burger and the mussels we ate here are attached.Food: 5/5
Great Sunday Roast and fantastic, friendly service. We visit this area 4-5 times per year and have done for over 10 years to attend events at Olympia. This was my first visit to The Cumberland Arms in search of a comforting Sunday Roast and we were not disappointed. Don’t expect fine dining or even overpriced gastropub food but do expect great quality meat and everything else cooked to perfection including the desserts we had crumble and sticky toffee spudding. I took an espresso after dinner which was also very well done, better than I’ve had at a pub for a long time! Two Sunday Roasts, two desserts, a pre-dinner cocktail, a bottle of wine and an espresso came in at £110.
Pretty decent pub. The beers on tap are what I'd seen in other pubs. Had dinner, and the food was quite good. Fried calamari was really good. My friend has sausages & mash, I had Caesar salad with chicken. Both delicious, generous serving. Recommended.
Two vegetarians and a gluten free diner enter the Cumberland Arms…no joke or happy punchline here, I’m afraid : Sadly no veg or vegan mains! Several veg/vegan starters. And the chef could/would not increase the portion of the ravioli or risotto starters. So we left. The waitress was very apologetic and very pleasant! Gorgeous fire place and raised seating area. Great vibe. What a shame… Come on The Cumberland Arms…!
Food is amazing although it takes a while to come. I recommend the Cumberland burger it is amazing! Service is outstanding everyone was very nice and they could accommodate a last minute party of 9 on a week night. The atmosphere is great! It is very friendly and cozy! I highly recommend you visit if you are in the area Vegetarian options: There are some meat-free eats like salads which are very good and made with good quality ingredients. Dietary restrictions: They easily accommodated a few food allergies and restrictions in my party of 9. Kid-friendliness: Even though it is a pub it is pretty kid friendly and they have a lot of alcohol free drinks like appletiser.
Nice pub and reasonable food. We had risotto which is always a risky option. Sadly, it wasn't the best I've had but was nice enough...the chips however were great. But do ask for the wine list rather than just ask for a bottle of wine...we asked for a bottle of rosé but were slogged with a forty quid bill at least it was French. Vegetarian options: The risotto was the only main dish on the menu without meat.
The Cumberland arms is a beautiful looking London pub. Blue tiles, hanging baskets patio garden, the lot. Lovely old wood inside. All in all a great place. Plenty of beer, lovely staff. Gorgeous!
Everything about this pub was welcoming. The books over the fireplace, the parlor games, the shoes on the wall, the friendly staff. Then our food came, black truffle and ricotta ravioli, delicious, penne pasta, delicious, bangers and mash, delicious. Def must try.Food: 5/5
I recently visited The Cumberland Arms and enjoyed their unique blend of British ingredients with Italian cooking techniques. I've added it to my barguide.london site too!Food: 5/5
I feel for £22 a pop that I should have been wowed especially considering their claim to be the best Sunday Roast in Hammersmith. It wasn't wow. It was a solid Roast with most of the trimmings. Their roasties were spectacular though. They maintain the strange ritual of not serving yorkies with Lamb, a concept I thought went out with New Labour. But whinging aside, they kindly brought me out one and it was worth every bite. Very friendly service but won't be going back for a roast.
