Small rural no frills campsite, close to Bath. Pitches are either flat or slightly inclined and scattered across the hillside, some with hook ups. There are plenty of trees giving the site an enclosed and sheltered feel. The facilities are basic and clean but in need of updating. We found the owner to be friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and would be happy to visit again.
Nice and quiet camping very close to Bath. Every pitch has a small fire pit on site and there is wood available. The owner is very helpful and kind. Toilet and showers were clean but could use a little touch up. I really liked the on site food truck where you can buy coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch and diner. Big plus if you have a lazy day and want to chat a bit while relaxing in the cozy terrace.
Superb little campsite. Lovely piches set in amongst tress and hedges for that wilder feel. Fire put on each pitch and logs easily available. Some great woodland walks from the site and Bath only a few minutes away. Definitely recommend the site, the owners are really friendly. Will be coming back!
This is a lovely camp site especially for southern England. The sites are all nicely excluded - gives it the feel of somewhere more isolated than it is. The owners were very friendly. Pleasant surroundings as well. Stayed an extra night as it was so welcoming.
The campsite itself was very nice and the owners were very helpful but the facilities were poor. Few toilets and the showers weren't great. We had very noisy neighbours on our first night but night 2 was peaceful. Generally a good site that with a little updating could be exceptional.
Lovely campsite in a great location and great private pitches, with little extras such as fire pit. However, showers were tired, old, not always clean and this would stop me camping here again. If replaced, the site would be amazing.
Had the most fantastic time at blackberries camping park! We thought the atmosphere was really relaxing and the surroundings couldn’t have been more scenic, totally stunning and being so close to bath was incredibly convenient! Great walks and pubs around every corner. But the 2 most memorable experiences are by far; hanging out with the 2 very cool goats in the campsite paddock. As well as meeting the incredibly sexy cake lady running the Arty Bakes mobile van, who served us a delicious cooked breakfast and a range of sumptuous lunch’s and dinners from salad nicoise to spaghetti carbonara, pad thai and even yesterday, believe it or not, an exquisite Sunday roast rivalling that of the kings arms! And at considerably lower prices - for those of you on a budget Arty Bakes is the place to be Both Tom and Beryl the owners of the campsite have been brilliant and we have really felt at home here! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning very soon! Thanks so much Tom!
Fab little campsite. I “glamped” for the first time and we had a bell tent. I thought someone was on the pitch when we first arrived as it was so well stocked. We didn’t need to take anything except food. Got a taxi into town and back too with no issues. Really lovely, clean facilities and the bonus of some friendly goats. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.
My husband and I stayed here at the weekend and I have to say it was such a beautiful camp site. Each plot has been sectioned off with flowers and hedge rows. In beautiful country side and right next to a forest, each plot is also provided with it's own fire pit. To add to that the facilities we cared for and clean, then you had the added bonus of the goats and a badger set. Loved the place and will definitely visit again.
Great small, family-run camp site. Wanted somewhere local to do some father & son fun. Great place for nice simple fun. Fire, marshmallows and watching the stars. Awesome.
