I stayed here a night at the start of a bicycle tour, in a small tent. I rang up in the afternoon and was welcomed in right away. The lady owner is very friendly and I gratefully accepted the arrival and departure cups of tea! The only downside is that it's a bit noisy being next to a busy road, although at night it didn't keep me awake.
Lovely friendly lady who booked me in over the phone. On arrival she showed me a lovely quiet spot and was very friendly
This is a nearlywild.com camping site. Grass is cut beautifully, great safe little areas for newby campers. No facilities except tap water.
Made a booking, however realised I couldn’t make it. Despite this the lady I spoke to was so friendly. Really good communication and quick refund. Just a shame we couldn’t make it
Exactly what I needed.... a warm welcome and good advice of where to walk I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend, many thanks for having me.
