Lovely welcome from Merve who couldn't have been more informative or helpful. Expect an armful of information leaflets. Loved the farm shop with potatoes, onions, eggs, etc. Adequate sized paved hard pitches with grassed awning space needed ground sheet in muddy December. A 5-minute taxi ride into Bath city centre or 15 minute cycle downhill.
Nice enough CL but perfect location ! 10 minutes cycle ride from start of 1.5 mile canal walk into the centre of Bath or - turn the opposite direction and - 14 mile ride along disused railway line to Bristol
Great location but officious, grumpy, argumentative owner. Site access is poor and was desperately muddy after rain. If it wasn't handy for Bath it has no other benefits.
Superb little CL on the outskirts of Bath. You couldn't ask for a friendlier more informative welcome from Merve the owner. It's located perfectly for access to many walks, cycle routes and bus routes around the area. Nice and quiet, we were visited by a badger on our first night here. An absolute bargain at £16.50 a night, I'm surprised it isn't £20 - £25 and even then it would be great value.
Merve and Lynn are superb hosts!! Me and my family stayed there by winter 2020, and we have great memories from them and the beautiful place they have!
Very pleasant site. Lovely owners. Nice walk first afternoon along Cotswold Way then down to the pub at Kelston. Great garden. Walked into Bath along Cotswold Way then back along the river. Slightly disappointed in the Boathouse pub as it was shut on our second afternoon visit. We could have stayed longer.
We love this site and is good location for getting into Bath. Mervyn is a great character and we love his information pack! Definitely we will be back.
Lovely little site the owner Merv is very friendly and gives you handy welcome pack on arrival. I would also recommend his farm shop.
What can I say, if you want a nice quiet site then this is the place. Lynn and Merv are a great couple, when we arrived they gave us the welcome pack which we had heard about, it contained everything needed to sort out your holiday excursions plus local places such as recommended restaurants, caravan shops etc, etc. The produce they sell is lovely and at an extremely good price. We actually spent 14 nights there and will definitely go back, it is ideally situated for Bath and Bristol and a good stop over for a couple of nights if you're going to or from Devon/Cornwall. and thank you Lynn and Merv for a very enjoyable stay.
Friendly, welcoming CL for Caravan and Motorhome club members. Provides a big pack of tourist info on the basis of keep what you want and return the rest. Great location about 2 miles from city centre with bus stops for several routes to Bath and Bristol close by. We used the buses a lot, particularly good because we have pensioner passes. Slight drawbacks are steep entrance and pitches with only limited space to manoeuvre on to them. Best with a motor mover but other members helped us by hand.
