What a great discovery. You will not find many pubs like this anywhere in the world. The actual pub is very small, and there isn't an actual bar. Instead, keg barrels are stacked in front of one of the bay windows. Locals would serve themselves and simply pay at the end of the evening. A good selection of ciders and a couple of ales. Food consists of crisps, nuts and pork scratchings! As the place is so small, you will find yourselves sharing tables and benches. This then forces socialising and conversation with regulars and those from further afield and makes for a good night in the pub. There is Shove H"apenny, and a skittles alley. Outside, there is plenty of seating in the garden and a fire pit. The owners are encouraging people to camp in their field or car park. There is also the promise of music with "Gig at the Grave" on the Glastonbury weekend.

Nice old pub. Can get busy, pub garden looks welcoming if the weather is nice.

Great traditional cider pub which has acquired a legendary status over the years. Unspoilt example of how pubs were a long time ago. A must for traditional pub lovers.

This place held some lovely memories for me and my family but tonight's visit was disappointing. Not the pubs fault just the laud mouthed clientele.

Loved the unaltered style of this pub. If you miss the pub sign you may not think it's a going concern. Happy hunting!
