We were staying at the local caravan park for a few days and stopped in here for a meal. The Black Bull staff were very attentive and welcoming and found us a suitable table to accommodate our large dog. The menu had lots to choose from and the quality of food was first class. Prices were average for eating out these days and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Had lunch here on a Saturday on the way to the Melrose Rugby 7s. The food was great and the surroundings very pleasant. Will definitely visit again when passing!
Absolutely lovely lunch and friendly service, everywhere was clean and well laid out. Decor inside made it very inviting. Our waitress was great at the table and working hard.
We were a table of 8 in for Sunday lunch @ 12.00 today 23/02. We had a lovely Sunday lunch all meals were lovely and well presented and the waiting staff were lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be back when down next.
Driving up from Seahouses Northumberland to Edinburgh stopped off for a bite of lunch at the Black Bull. On entering the staff member was very welcoming and polite we were shown to our table given menus and ordered drinks a few minutes later we ordered the homemade lasagne and panko coated haddock and hand cut chips both dishes were well presented hot and might I say absolutely delicious . A very memorable lunch stop.
