Family meal on Mothers Day afternoon. Excellent service, great choice for the adults, and good quality. We really enjoyed our meals. We had a 7 year old that didn't want anything on the menu. The chef agreed to make "the best beefburger", which he did eat, and agreed it was the best. Thanks for looking after us, on what was no doubt a really busy day.
The family room suite nr 5 is absolutely wonderful! It’s actually more like an appartment than a hotel room. Good beds! The shower cabin could be a bit more spacious the bathroom is big enough though. The dinner in the pub was very good! I highly recommend this place!
Went for Sunday lunch and had the ham hock terrine to start and pink beef with a side of cauliflower cheese. Terrine was lovely, as was the main with the side nice and cheesy. Well worth a visit....oh the real ale is good too.
Beautiful pub in lovely village. Bar lunch was a real cut above regular pub food, and worth travelling to. Very dog friendly, and supports my theory that places that are dog friendly are generally very people friendly too!Service: 5/5
This was a stunning place, faultless from every perspective. Room, first class, breakfast ,beyond first class, manager and staff the best I have ever encountered in an establishment of this type, Ale and service, a tribute to the folks keeping the cellar. 5 stars aren't enough and a message to Josh and his team, "We'll be back in the Summer, thank you all so much!" This is a lovely country pub with a very cosy feel. The room was very comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and we wished we were staying longer to try more of the menu. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms: The room is in a converted stable block and is comfortable, clean and has everything you need. Food & drinks: Excellent menu for both breakfast and evening meals and good sized portions.
Staff could not be more helpful, top service, rooms very clean and no noise, it has a great car park and a very lovely little village. We highly recommend this place. The food was fabulousRooms: 4/5
The Beresford arms is an amazing place. The food is second to none. The staff are helpful. Kind greeting, well dressed. The drinks are reasonably priced. The food. On the other hand, I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which came with a small bit of ice cream and it was just to die for. I would highly recommend this place so anybody in the Northumberland region code to Walton and enjoy the food.
Very nice pub serving a good range of drinks and meals. They have an online presence so it's easy to check menus and accommodation etc before your visit. The place has lots of free parking close to the entrance and is quite easy to find. It's a nice, warm pub and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Check out their special deals and chefs specials
