Popped into this place for a pint while on holiday in the area. It was recommended to us and it turned out to be a good shout. Good old school pub with a decent range of daft beer and a nice atmosphere.
A really cosy and friendly pub. Spent most of new years day here and loved the atmosphere

Lovely pub, however cold due to no heating on.
Proper little old pub hidden away in clear view on a side street. If you fancy a quiet drink while you read your newspaper/book this is your type of pub, and if you want a drink and a chat sit at the bar.
Attended a wake here with for a small number others. They put on a nice range of food and the bar has a decent selection of drinks. It's not a very big place and the toilets were a bit small but the staff were wonderful, the place well looked after and cozy.
Great bar. Great atmosphere with a nice little secluded section out back.

Brilliant old style pub, for drinking at.
Excellent service and a cosy evening sat by a warm fire. My partner and I loved it here and will return.
