The bar manager pre empted the fact that the food service was a bit slow due to it being the Easter holidays but still came in reasonably quick, food lovely and good service 😊

Laid back with an edge of polish and a welcoming feel. Good food and drinks menu at a reasonable price and efficient friendly service. Music that sets a laid back metropolitan vibe. The only Morpeth venue I can think of that has a continental grand cafe feel. Cafe, restaurant and drinking venue seamlessly mixed in a way that is often surprisingly difficult to find especially in a small town. Will forgive it the cliched quotes on the wall for that.

Well well well.....Barluga have done it again another piece of great customer service and care, this is the response I got back off the Assistant Manager....apparently as the customer you are not entitled to put a bad review on anywhere if they have a bad experience so because of this I am not getting an apology or compensation/bribe instead I have been asked to not go back . What a joke.... Assistant Manager - Barluga Yes I've seen them all. Can I just portray my extreme disappointment that you hadn't waited to speak with myself first before you wrote all of your reviews. I have spent my own free time can I just add, speaking with yourself on here and my staff who were on last night to try to come to an amicable agreement and conclusion as to what happened. You'll agree there are 2 sides to every story. I was more than willing to meet you either today (my day off) or Saturday to offer you some form of compensation and apology face to face for your disappointing experience. I have reconsidered this and now find myself having to deal with the backlash of your comments which could have been avoided. Can I politely ask you to refrain from visiting Barluga Mopeth in the future. Kindest regards. Went here last night for my birthday treat....and have to say this is the WORST place I have ever been in 43 years. Food average but the service is absolutely horrendous �, attitude wrong, orders wrong waited 10 mins for an egg to go with the burger which was cold by the time it came. Had to grab waiters attention after five minutes to ask for salt & pepper....whole experience just not acceptable when paying high prices for rubbish. Would have liked to give this 0 stars but lowest I could give was 1. I mentioned couple of things to waiter at the time which didn’t do anything, just more of less told to order a different drink etc was only for the wife that I never kicked off. Did they apologise or give any discount for their incompetence....HELL NO as they don’t value their customers. Take my advice DON’T WASTE-YOUR TIME & MONEY AND AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE... Could you please cancel my request for Loyalty card which I done before my visit

As a frequent visitor our party of 4 were very disappointed with our quality of food and it's presentation on Tuesday 2nd August. Despite our complaints no alteration to the bill or apology was received. Will not be going back.
