Sunday lunch with 10 family members and 2 dogs .nFood was delicious, one of the best Sunday lunches I’ve had as a vegetarian. Meat eaters also very happy nEnormous portions and good variety. Vegetables came separately and not shown in pic .
Came upon this establishment purely by looking through Google Maps. We’re staying up in Cornhill Upon Tweed so this isn’t out of our way. The food was absolutely top notch, so tasty! The total bill for the two of us came to £85 including drinks. Guest ale really cheap here as well. I actually had three courses which is something I don’t normally do. Service was a little slow but staff very friendly. Real nice community minded pub. If we’re holidaying up this way again we’ll be sure to call in. Highly recommended.
Visited tonight with family, service was excellent, very attentive & efficient, menu choice was very good.nWe chose Starters, mains & deserts, all were so generous in portions, so tasty and great value.nThis has to be the best pub food we have been served for 2024.
Lovely dog friendly pub. The staff were great and ensured the dogs were well looked after. The food was reasonably priced and although we had to wait a bit longer than I would have normally liked it was worth it. The food was amazing chef's kiss. There was plenty of it and the quality was epic! The chips were really good and everyone in the family said it was very good. The atmosphere is good and I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch. I cannot understand the poor reviews as we found it to brilliant.
We had late lunch here last week mid afternoon as lunch was finishing and evening meals had not started. Our fish and chips were diabolical covered in thick dark brown batter and dark brown chips as though they had been refried. Nearly all the meal was left and service was indifferent. Would not recommend!
