What a gorgeous pub. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The food was exquisite. Best steak my husband says he's ever had. Melt in the mouth. Lovely starter, mains & dessert. Staff were friendly & attentive but not in your face. I think our waiter was called Greg, and he was very polite. We did book a table, but a September evening, early week, it probably wasn't necessary. Outside seating for warmer days. There's a beautiful original flagstone floor & the place is full of charm. We will definitely return.
This is not 'pub grub', but excellent restaurant quality fare. Absolutely delicious food. We both had a fish dish, and they were SO good. Very reasonable prices too. Pub is large and very clean. Dogs wecome in the bar area and outside. Staff lovely. Cannot recommend enough.

Food was awesome, Moss and Co always do a good meal in all their pubs.. First time at the Bell which has some lovely original features.. Oh the Barmen were friendly and helpfull too.
How to places cam be so different, eat at the jolly sailors last night Amazing eat at the bell carlton colville, presentation amazing the steak was awful, out of our party of 12 four of us had steak and all four said the same, I told the waitress and alls she said is I will tell the chef, we will take our £500 somewhere else next time.
