Great pub. Lovely views of the water. Great food. The atmosphere was busy, lots of chatter and people enjoying themselves.
The commodore now has some life back in it. The staff are great always wanting to service you. Everywhere is clean and tidy, The food is great, If it is a hot sunny day it will be packed, the music is on most weekends so check Facebook to see who is playing, the sunsets are usually epic if it is a clear night. Highly recommend going to this place. there are two outside bars and lots of seating.
I hadn’t been to The Commodore in many years, but I went for dinner on Thursday, September 12th, with a friend. The staff were warm and friendly, and I had the halloumi burger, which was delicious!
Lovely dog and kid friendly establishment. A good range of food on offer and a specials menu. The crab salad went down well from our group. Portion size was big especially on the children's menu. There was a good selection of beers and the bar is dog friendly too.
Lovely hidden gem, tucked away at the end of Oulton Broads. Perfect place to moor up with the family when out on a day trip on the water.nnGood variety of food on offer, as well as offering a trendy, street food style garden menu for when you fancy something a bit lighter.nnWide choice of drinks stocked behind the bar, with a lovely little garden bar to help avoid some of the queues in busier periods.nnLive music every Saturday which always goes down a treat and really gets the venue pumping.nnAll in all, a lovely place to spend a day, afternoon or night, with a diverse team of staff that go out of their way to make your experience superb.nnI will be visiting again, and again and again!
