Terrible experience, firstly asked if we want to keep our coats because it's so cold...' takes a while to heat up'. On receiving our meals things got worse, the vegetable fricassee, turned out to be boiled veg (the same used a the side for other dishes) with some black pasta and some white thin tasteless sauce (not the rich basil sauce on the menu listing). This bizarre dish came with raspberries and two salads, one either side of the plate?! Raspberries appeared on our salmon starter too?!... A serious mash up of odd items. When I enquired about the strange dish I was told 'well the menu's changing tomorrow'. Our puddings too were not as described, cream instead of ice-cream and no hit of lavender in the lavender fondant. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

Attended CoC event for 200+, very good food, good service and lovely venue. Service at bar a bit slow, needed more staff here.
