Very tasty fish and chips. Large chips maybe a tad small, but the cod was very crispy and tasty. No bones. Best chippie in Topsham and Countess Wear. Highly recommended!
Not happy at all.. . Last time I ordered they messed it up but I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I know mistakes happen and they were really busy! So I went to give them another go this evening and I’ve been calling for constantly for 45 minutes straight and they haven’t answered! Sometimes it says user busy so I know they’re answering calls but why not my number? Last time I ordered the food was cold, the salt and pepper chips had spilled all over the food and I was missing a curry. The lady said I would have credit added for the next time I ordered but I asked if I could get the curry delivered as it was the main dish! She said she would get it delivered within 10 minutes but it actually took an hour! I really wanted to give them a chance but will now take my custom else where. Shame.
On Saturday 26th November we had food missing from our order. Staff read back the order and claimed to have checked all items were present. We have tried to contact the owners in the hope that they may make a good will gesture. However, after being cut off on several occasions we gave up.
This place gets very busy on Fridays and Saturdays so keep ringing as they do answer the phone but there’s only ONE phone line. If you can’t get through best bet is to go to the shop. The staff do try their best to take everyone’s order through phone and Shop! Think shop’s times have changed due to short staffed! If you don’t like it here then there’s always options to go other places or try working in Catering : instead of writing bad reviews. Can’t find another Chinese as good as this!
Seriously let down by their phone system which is a shame. I avoid going here now despite the food being good as it's impossible to call and order, especially on busier nights.
Was pleasantly surprised by the price and the quality of fish and chips here, in a time of post covid rip offs. Really good, thank you
They never answer the phone!!!!!! We have tried so many times to get delivery as we managed once and it was delicious but they DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE!!!!!!
This is the best Chinese in Exeter, cannot fault it. Food is amazing, deliveries have always been on time and food is piping hot, would highly recommend, You won't be disappointed.
Microwaved rubbish! If you’ve had a few, beware. Pre prepared, microwaved. Literally took minutes before being served, taken back as was luke warm. Not the first time either. Never again.
Lovely sausage and chips and curry sauce was amazing, clean empty plates so that tells you it's good, staff very friendly and polite definitely going back
