Stopped off on the way from London to home in Cornwall. Had a really good Sunday roast. The beef was outstanding, served as a big chunky slice. Lovely veg and wine gravy, roasties and horseradish. Friendly staff too. First time here and will be back.
Came here thanks to the Tesla chargers for a spot of lunch - overall it’s ok - clearly aimed at a ‘certain’ market with the prices they charge and that’s fair enough as long as it’s good value, which to be fair this wasn’t particularly - service was good and food arrived promptly but the pizza was a bit under and doughy and the mozzarella not properly melted but plenty of pepperoninSalad was ok, pretty small for the price but my wife enjoyed her scampinOverall - probably wouldn’t rush back as I don’t think I am their target audience which I am more than ok with
Great farm shop, restaurant, cafe, shop with a fantastic butchers. Prices very reasonable.
The new restaurant at Darts Farm is a very pleasant surprise. Really comfortable environment, great service and the food very fresh and well cooked. A little pricey but worth it as far as we were concerned! Great with little children too! Make sure you book in advance!
Food was good but my vegetarian friend had ham pieces on her sandwich from cross contamination in the kitchen. We sent it back and they refunded us the price of the sandwich and gave her a new one but something as simple as not using the same board to make a meat and vegetarian sandwich should really be basic practice in a kitchen like that. Other than that the food was lovely and the service was good.
