Fantastic local resource for , reasonably priced, plastic free, ethically produced goods. Refills of shampoo, cleaning products etc- smell great, work well but gently. Lots of staple products but also herbs, spices, oils and herbs- ideal if you just need a small amount for a new recipe. Nice range of gifts too. Sarah is very knowledgeable and has received well deserved awards for the business.
I have visited with my friend on the way from beach as my friend is gluten and dairy allergic. I am not vegetarian but was very pleasantly surprised how tasty my beetroot wrap with dried tomatoes and mushrooms and creamy cheese was. Wau!!!! The taste of beetroot pita bread was amazing lovely sweet flavour and with all the fillings. Did not miss any meat in it! Side salad made of different green leaves , couscous beans . Just lovely. Decor in this little cafe is so original and refreshing , fresh flowers on a table very pleasant owner lady ... definitely recommend , healthy delicious and great for people who have food intolerance or allergies.
I haven't tried a lot of what they have to offer as always stick to buying the delicious muesli and their pick and mix chocolate selection - love the chocolate orange and honeycomb varieties. I promise to be more adventurous as they eco friendly with everything from shampoo to olive oil to milk to herbs. The staff are always friendly and the owner, Sarah, is super nice. A beautiful looking space and a unique independent. They also round up the pennies to give to charities so an all round caring business.
One of the best places for packaging free, sustainable shopping. The owner is knowledgable and patient and ahead of the curve in sourcing sustainable produce. Useful when faced with customers that want to know where everything comes from, how it got here, what the ingredients is and whether it was grown organically. The TVP Nourish sell is now palm oil free after such a conversation. The only downside to the shop is that it’s so small, it needs to be bigger!
This is an independent shop selling good quality food. Buy as much as you need. Paper bags to cut down on plastic, and you can go back to refill. Please support this shop
So pleased to find BioD refill service. Very helpful proprietor. Will be back for nuts, seeds, herbs etc. A great addition to Topsham.
