Awesome pub with delicious beer and delicious food. The owners were highly accommodating in helping me organise a private event and the staff were awesome on the day. Thanks for a great time Beer Engine!Food: 5/5
A nice pub with plenty of character, toilets are situated downstairs here, food is bloody amazing, lots a flavours a good variable menu choice with a specials board if the menu isn't enough choice. Desert was just as amazing. This is my second visit here. Would definitely come back.Food: 5/5
I've probably reviewed the Beer Engine before, but it's worthy of a second A* rating. We wanted to take my mum out for a quality pub meal, so took the train from Dawlish up to Newton St Cyres on a Friday evening. As with previous visits, the owners and staff warmly welcomed us. From there on, in spite if it being a busy evening, the staff were on the ball with our food and drink needs, so we didn't wait long for anything. Then we ordered food. I had Venison pictured which was wonderful. My wife and mum had different dishes which were also thoroughly enjoyed. Lovely beer brewed on the premises added to it for me! The Beer Engine is a superb evening out, so I'd encourage you to go there
superb lunchtime today. Great food and super beer and staff Fabulous. Highly recommendFood: 5/5
Cracking brewpub not far from Exeter. Railway station 1 minute walk away. Be careful though, it's a request stop. Large outside drinking area. Food available and a downstairs bar with tv for sports. A 'must do' pub when in the area.
It was the first time i had been to the Beer Engine & glad i went to the village lunch that was booked there. The staff were very helpful & pleasant & food was good. Food: 4/5
Lovely pub with a nice cozy outside space and more downstairs for functions. Food is very good, would recommend the scotch egg to start with.Food: 5/5
A warm welcome, great beer and good food. Thank you.Food: 4/5
Food was very tasty. Tables are a little too close together but all in all, a lovely meal.Food: 5/5
The beer engine excels at good tasty fare. With friendly and effective staff, & a wide selection of ales, this is a place to spend time at. All this is right next to a railway station so you may not have to drive.
