First time going in wedges since the new owner took over and the cafe has improved massively its decor ambience and friendly welcome relaxed atmosphere Mark greated us great The food is 5*rated he cooked the food to perfection and service was quick . Definitely going back n definitely a must visit if your in the area
A wonderful reasonable full cooked English breakfast two for only £10! and it came very quick! We are both very tired parents and couldn't wait for a cooked meal and hot coffee. They were very accommodating for our baby and they made room for a pram.I felt very comfortable breastfeeding my baby in the front and the ladies that worked there were very friendly and helpful and they even had oat milk as we both have dairy intolerances thankyou so much! We will be back!
Stopped in to get a couple sandwiches today, they messed my order up. Put salad in the wrong sandwich. Basic bread and looked like it had all been thrown together from one side of the kitchen to the other. Basic breaded ham you'd buy from Tesco. Tasteless. What happened to the old wedges !!
Really nice place for lunch. The lady who served us was really helpful and friendly. Had an amazing baguette and they made my son a sandwich that wasn't on the menu. Would happily go back.
My wife and I enjoyed freshly made sandwiches on lovely bread in this café today but the whole experience turned sour when went to pay. We handed over a Scottish £20 note and the girl said she didn't think they accepted Scottish notes even though she had seen one in the till previously. When she asked the staff in the kitchen if it was acceptable she was given a definite "NO". We said we only had Scottish notes and had never experienced this problem in all the years we'd been coming to Crediton. The girl did apologise and said she wasn't sure if the boss, who wasn't in today would be happy. We pointed out that the note does state "to pay the bearer twenty pounds sterling" and a local customer also said that the bank would accept it. It's very sad to see such a bigoted attitude especially as we are all part of the UK. In the end as we had no other bank notes they had to accept it and needless to say we will not be using this café again.
Fantastic choice of quality food. Friendly service. More than just a sandwich shop. The lasagne is to die for. I will be booking a corporate smörgåsbord for Christmas for sure.
Clean, friendly and welcoming. Very good breakfast menu - highly recommend the "Crediton Riser".
Always a warm, friendly welcome, great atmosphere and tasty food . Wedges is the place to go in Crediton!!
