Just had a horrible experience. Used to come to the beehive regularly with various friends and family. Been tonight with my brother and sister, and we will not be going again.nnStaff were frosty and unwelcoming, my meal itself was not great, chicken was dry and chewy and veg was rock hard, and my sister's noodles as she said had a funny taste. The staff didn't come over during to ask was it okay, instead the 3 members of stood leaning on the bar on their phones. It seems they clearly had an issue with myself as I've been before and never been treated like that. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The woman clearly saw I had hardly my meal and proceeded to charge me anyway and was extremely sarcastic and frosty when we was leaving. My brother17 and sister 14 commented on the staff before I had chance to say anything saying they clearly weren't bothered.nnWe were in the pub from 8pm-9pm ish if the owner wants to bother checking and we were sat near the fire.nnWhat a waste of £58 and the staff have issues with people they could at least be polite when things are being paid for or if they can't do that just refuse service. Disgusting. I hate leaving reviews as another business owner in the town, but I have never felt so uncomfortable while out having a meal. The CCTV will show you a lot anyway, so feel free to review it.
Excellent really authentic tasting Thai food at a price every pocket can afford. Would advise to book as can get busy, please be careful where you park as narrow lane is used by the local bus.
Great roast beef dinner and a cheeky half of Timothy Taylor's as I was early picking up the takeaway.nMany thanks it was brilliant today.
The food at the Beehive is absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend the vegan green curry enough, it’s great every time. Proper good Guinness too.
Brilliant little hidden gem! If you like cheeky Thai food or pub classics you can’t go wrong at the Hive, I honestly alter my weekend walks to nip in
