The landlord of this pub has recently gone above and beyond for me. I held a wedding fayre and when the venue pulled out of making the vendors lunches John was fabulous at stepping in. 19 baguettes at a great price for everyone delivered to the venue, everyone thought their food was great and the service was second to none.nnI also enjoy eating at this pub the food is exquisite, the service great and the location is perfect for after one of my favourite walks through the hills.
The Beehive has been around for years .. I was a child when first welcomed - my Nan lived on Whitfield Cross and we spent many a year popping. I’m now in my 60,s and have lived in London most of my life. The Beehive holds many special memories and I am so pleased it’s still around. I’m coming back with my grandchildren!!nnbut I’m coming back. Too many good memories! Quite a journey from London but worth it.
Went in the beehive as we were looking for somewhere to have food. I frequented Glossop for 30 odd years and never been in. We were greeted by friendly bar staff when we went in. Asked if there was a spare table so we could order some food. To which we managed to get one even though they had a lot of reservations for food. We ordered the food which we had a choice of English or Thai to order from. When the food came it was good size portions and looked good. Everyone enjoyed their food. I couldn't fault anything about our experience at the beehive. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Will definitely be going back again in the future.
