If you’re a fan of The Beatles or simply love music history, The Beatles Story Museum in Liverpool is an absolute must-visit. Located along the Albert Dock, the museum offers a fascinating and immersive journey into the lives and careers of the iconic band that changed the music world forever. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, taking you through the early days of The Beatles’ rise to fame, their legendary albums, and their lasting cultural impact. The museum is packed with rare memorabilia, including instruments, clothing, handwritten lyrics, and personal items that give visitors a genuine sense of the band’s evolution over time. Each section is carefully designed to create an engaging experience, from the recreated Cavern Club to the interactive displays that make you feel like you’re stepping into the 60s. One of the highlights is the audio guide, which is available in multiple languages and provides insightful commentary, with exclusive stories and interviews that enrich the experience. Whether you’re exploring the famous Abbey Road recording sessions or learning about their travels and concerts worldwide, the museum brings each chapter of The Beatles’ journey to life in a captivating way. The museum also includes an impressive section dedicated to the individual members of the band, showcasing their solo careers and lasting legacies. The atmosphere is both nostalgic and educational, and it’s clear that a lot of care and passion has gone into preserving The Beatles’ story. Whether you’re a lifelong Beatles fan or just discovering their music, The Beatles Story Museum is a memorable and enriching experience that you won’t want to miss when visiting Liverpool
Best experience I’ve ever had! A lot of information which is totally important for me as a Beatles fan. A free audio guide is definitely a need thing! In general walk through whole museum took me about 2 hours. Cool shop, prices for me wasn’t really expensive! Nice stuff <3 For adult 20£, I bought tickets online
A must for any Beatles fan, so much information, plenty to see and learn. The tour runs in order from the beginning of the Beatles history to the end. You get headphones for a free audio guide that gives a description of each display. You have plenty of time to look around and can pause the guide at anytime. Well worth the money. The gift shop is reasonably priced aswell.
While I enjoy the Beatles music, I’m not a super fan. The price is a beat steep, but this one seemed to get better reviews than the other one in town, and since I’m in the town where the band started I had to go to one of them. There’s a free audio guide that does a good job providing some of the back story as you journey from before they were famous to when they eventually broke up. A few of the chapters in the guide didn’t line up with the displays, but it was easy enough to figure out. There was just enough for the casual fan, but I’m not sure there would be enough for someone who already knows all the basics.
I'm not the biggest Beatles fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. If you're a big fan you probably won't learn anything new, but for me it was perfect. The scenes were laid out really well and the audio guide was also really good.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
A truly thrilling experience, getting to follow through the story of John, Paul, George and Ringo. You’re given an audio device that adds loads of information to the multitude of artifacts, posters, pictures and other exhibits. Easy to follow through, very pleasant. Totally worth the 20 pounds entrance. After the end, there is a Beatles memorabilia gift shop, as well as a cost cafe where you can relax and recap the experience with good friends. Warmly recommended.
If you are a Beatles fan and not visited here before YOU have to go. It covers everything from their beginning to when they split. There is also interviews from Paul McCartney on video. Worth a visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
You will want and need a minimum of 2 hours here. The audio clips of information truly help narrate the successful path of the Fab 4. So much to look at and walk through. It's a maze of memories you will want to experience.
We used a Buy a Gift voucher for these tickets and I'm so glad this is what we chose! The audio guided tour is a fantastic way to learn the history and you really do feel immersed in the various rooms and history of the Beatles. I'll admit to not knowing much before, but I really do feel caught up now! I'd recommend it to anyone whether they're a superfan or just a casual listener like me. Definitely a great idea for a rainy day too as all indoors.
