Story

Nestled within four acres of mature award-wining gardens and spacious terraces, The Bath Priory is part of the AA Hotel Group of the Year 2017-18 and sets itself apart as a peaceful haven in a bustling city.

The Georgian house of honey-coloured Bath stone enjoys a tranquil location just a short walk to the city centre. Welcoming guests as if to a private home, The Bath Priory is where much of proprietors Andrew and Christina Brownsword's private art collection adorns the walls.

Beautiful hotel, interior furnished luxuriously. Room was lovely and layout was well thought out. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk from the centre. Breakfast was great, although took a little time but we wasn't in any rush. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Very welcoming place even with the grand setting. Pool is small but well designed.

I was treated to a fabulous Birthday lunch! We were looked after beautifully and the food was simply delicious. Very comfortable and full of character and style.

This elegant hotel has beautiful rooms, health facilities and lovely gardens. The service is impeccable. It is one of Beth's very special places. The upgraded health facilities are superb. This hotel is a must for special occasions or for pampering.

Had an amazing 6 course dinner here. The food here is amazing, probably the best in bath. The decor is high end and really unique. Its a Michelin star restaurant. The service here is top notch. The priory is very close to the royal victoria park so its a nice walk from and to town. Definitely worth a trip and the money you spend.
