I have held Charity Nights/Psychic Nights/Psychic Suppers/Vegan Events/Auctions and more at the Albion Pub upstairs in the function room and downstairs for years. The function room is more than adequate with everything you need on hand to hold these events and the staff are more than happy to accommodate any of your needs. The décor and furniture is extremely satisfactory with added coverings if needed and it is always cozy and warm with plenty of windows. The whole pub has a wonderful atmosphere and amazing staff happy assist and management that are always available. I would never choose another venue. 10/10 guys and girls
We were told when we ordered it was a 45 minute wait,which we said was fine. Unfortunately we were left waiting for an hour and a half,and feel even then we only got our food because we'd been up for the second time to ask where it was?? The food looked ok although the chicken on the mixed grill looked anemic but sadly it was all cold. Asked for our money back and left without eating any of it. We were offered a free meal,but th manager didn't give us anything for us to redeem it at a later date!! We won't be back,anyway

What a beautiful setting next to Marston's brewery, plenty of parking and beautifully lit. This was the first of our alphabet date night spots and somewhere we had never been before, and what a great place I got to say. The staff were friendly, the place was super clean, the food looked great and the price was very reasonable. This is somewhere I will definitely be coming back to and I will recommend to my friends. It does have a feel of a chain pub though and I feel it would have been busier if the quality and personality was a little more upscale. Saying that though I had a good experience. Please give me a thumbs up if you like the review
After moving from Manchester to Ashbourne and then to Burton, plus a year of isolation in between, and literally not knowing anybody in the town, the staff and the locals have been so welcoming! The atmosphere is friendly, the food is great and the cocktails are well below the average price in the area! The recent open mic nights have been very entertaining! It is genuinely such a friendly pub and I definitely recommend!
Couldn’t have had a more pleasing dining experience from being greeted on arrival by a fabulous bubbly lady dressed as Santa. Dining area for our party of 16 was well laid out and we enjoyed the privacy of our space as we had young grandchildren with us. Food was well presented, hot and very enjoyable. Good selection of beers for my taste and good selection of reduced alcohol drinks for the drivers amongst us. Our stay was not rushed and we enjoyed further time in the games area playing pool. Overall a fabulous day, well done to all staff who made it memorable for us.
Nice pub. Decent outside seating area & a small play area for children. Staff are friendly & polite. Food is good & fairly reasonably priced. They have daily offers on food with different menus each day Burger offers 1 day, curry offer another day
Pop here as we were on a day out in Burton. What a find! From the steps on entering being greeted by Louise. So friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, best dish I'd say was the pasta. Hot, tasty and served in no time. Pudding was recommended and it was. Lemon muffin cheesecake a big yes from me. Would we visit again? Absolutely we have booked in for Christmas.
We had Xmas dinner at the Albion, the food was lovely and the portions were huge a good thing, so much so that we had to have our puddings boxed up to take home. The staff were super friendly and had no problem with boxing the puds and even let me take my leftovers home for my dog. We had a great laugh with our servers didn't catch their names , but we were the couple at table 1 with the 3pm booking. I'm thinking we're going to eat Christmas Dinner at the Albion dinner again next year. 11 stars out of 10, we couldn't be happier!
I recently had the pleasure of using the Albion as a location for a team meeting. Lou and the team were so welcoming and friendly. The meeting room was perfect for our training session. We also had lunch there and the food was spot on! Great pub, great team - will definitely be visiting again soon
