I am really surprised at some of these reviews. We have worked with Punch for several years as a supplier and we have a very good relationship. I can highly recommend and high praise to Carly & Jess.
Stunning bar with 2 showcase bars each decorated with fantastic attention to detail. Hanging garden like seating in one corner makes for a chilled atmosphere and the drinks and food options are great. Gluten free specialists with a great veggie menu there are options here for everyone to eat and the food is good quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
What a shame this brewery cant even change a light fitting for the last 3 weeks... the ladies toilets are disgraceful especially the fact they have an Indian restaurant in the building!! Al the Pub needs is the main necessity’s and Punch can’t even do that! Such a shame as the pub is fantastic and have such loyal passionate staff and customers. All I hear is bad things about Punch. More like they need a Kick up the arse!!!
As a recent tenant coming out of a pub business the Bayley Arms with Punch Taverns I strongly advise any future tenants thinking of going into "partnership" with them to think again. They come across as being all fluffy and wanting to work with you but the reality is different. I will be taking the matter to a higher level to try to stop these people ruining decent hard working people's lives. If anyone has had similar bad experiences I suggest we come together
Absolute scum off the earth. I've read other comments and one is identical. Made up a load of delapedations, about electric and gas, to basically shut the pub down and then sell it on. Electric and gas were fine 3 years ago when we bought it... They're a con, the area manager Julian is scum, that never helped one bit. They hiked the prices 3 times in 6 months because we were doing well. Law suit coming :
Red lion at Moore Warrington would just like to say a massive thank you to the person who arranged the best evening for the children a true family friendly pub who go out of there way to make you truly feel part of their family.. Halloween event was amazing and it's so lovely to know that a great community pub still exists my 5 grandkids really enjoyed the night... And so did we... To the lady who organised it thank you so much for going over and above in your work I wish you all the best in your future career you were a pleasure to meet Stacey and your a credit to the company
Punch Tavern just shut down a beloved and growing five month old pub in Leyton; a modern pub with hard-working owners and staff that was catering to young families moving into the neighborhood, was getting crowded on weekends and evenings, had big community events and wedding parties, etc. Leyton needed a place like Pepper's Ghost. Punch Tavern shut it down, boarded it up. If you want to start a pub business, avoid Punch Tavern. They are a scam.
I've just had a Sunday lunch at the steam wagon Shrewsbury, unfortunately the beef was overcooked to my liking, the vegetables were undercooked, and when I ordered a long Island iced tea, it was made the wrong way, don't see this as a negative comment, this venue has recently been taken over by punch taverns, and they're training the staff the wrong way
It is my View that punch Taverns are a bunch of Robbers, I carried out business in two public house in the North East ,after giver nitice because of exorbarant Rent and Over priced products from them , They screwed me out of thousands of pounds saying it was for delapadations,when in fact the place was left in a mess when I took it over ,not even a salt and pepper in the place I spent thousands on decorating,Tv's Sound systems ,CCTV and so on , to receive absalutly nothing when I left , I have since seen they have carried out more redecoration and replacement counter tops that I requested but was told SORRY WE HAVE NO MONEY YES IT HAS BEEN DONE NOW BECAUSE THEY USED MY MONEY , DO NOT DEAL WITH PUNCH TAVERNS THEY WILL ROB YOU ,
Do not do business with this company! How they can sleep at night the money people have lost through them. Ed and Mark, thick as thieves. Do not trust
