Always good and friendly. Most accommodating landlord with well kept beer and a nice friendly atmosphere. Exactly what they put on the tin!
Good atmosphere good beer would deffo recommend this place to any of my mates
Not like it used to be, mind you not many drinking holes are these days
Sadly not a great amount of real ale, but did get pedigree which was fine. Also an apology when second beer was taken off. Not a posh establishment but friendly enough.
They served nice cold drinks in a hot sunny day Good atmosphere, plenty of space
Very nice pub, lovely staff. Big beer garden, pool table, live music events. They are showing live sport events. Unless they have issues with tv boxes, you can enjoy live football and f1 at the same time.
Call in occasionally, very comfortable seating areas, friendly hosts. Food menu looks ok but not tried yet. Large sports screens around the pub and a good spacious pool area. Good for parking as well.
First vist was a Monday quite very nice relaxing played pool with my son who is 12 and his god mum we had a really nice evening defo going for a revisit in a week or so
Nice little pub run by a good landlord irvine
It's a great local now serving excellent bass, abbot and Cumberland ales thanks to the efforts of the new landlord and his staff, and we have quality bands playing most Saturday nights, one of the last great locals in the area, certainly worth coming and supporting
