A good simple hotel with a basic bar. There is no real ale apart from Punk IPA. However they serve a brilliant Gin I've not seen in other pubs called Deaths Doorstep. It's only 47% proof and considering two doubles and a fevertree tonic came in at under 9 quid, good value. They have John Smiths bitter on tap and the usual lagers. Several big screen TVs and a massive one at the dance floor. A dj is present and played a good selection of music. It's not posh but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Staff were friendly too. Will defo return. Taxis are best directed to the rear car park.
Appalling today, dirty unwashed plastic reusable glasses, they were disgusting, mould on the rims and fungus down the sides, just waiting for the 'runs' now . .
Toilets badly need an upgrade

The new layout is brilliant service is normal and what you expect male toilet not bad for a pub in hull wouldn't recommend for a night out but I would recommend for a quick drink maybe before a football or rugby match
I was there for the Hull v Wigan game when I eventually got served I ordered a breakfast at no point at anytime did anyone approach me to ask if I'd had my breakfast I asked someone at the bar at half time he acted like he never knew what I was talking about. Full time came still no brekki I eventually had to find the lady who had served me who made me feel like I was lying and hasn't ordered my brekki cos I couldn't find my raffle ticket I did find the ticked in my coat pocket and eventually got my brekki which was cold btw I wont be ordering food there again....
Clean smart cheap beer very good sports screen
Quality staff can always have a laugh with them nothing bad to say about them at all and the drinks are nice even if it is only a shandy hear and there
Friendly welcome, nice staff, massive sports screen and so dam cheap I thought I'd gone back in time, will deffo go back
