A fantastic cosy venue, with interesting features. A great selection of beers; traditional and craft etc. Interesting food too, with plenty of vegan options to go at. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I consider this a 'must visit' venue.
Great traditional pub with horseshoe bar, lead windows, and other period decor. These guys have a great selection of craft beers and a small but varied real ale menu. The pub also has a pool table and a shuffle board the best bar game I've played, hilarious after a drink and worth a trip in its own right! and has a few screens for sports for big games. Don't wanna miss this place if you're in the old town, well worth the 2 minute detour :
Great selection of very well kept ales and craft beers. Never been in until somewhat recently renovated, the bar is a fine piece of craftsmanship! Decent music also played too.
Pub and beer up to its usual standard, Scotch egg and sausage roll also very good. However some customers thought they were in a stadium rather than a pub, their cheering for the shuffle board game was a little excessive.
We were having our wedding downstairs in the pub and we thought it would be a great location for our guests to stay who have traveled to Hull and our self's into the bridal suite. It was Michelle who dealt with us and we couldn't be happier with her service as she bent over backwards for us and was round at the drop of a hat. The double rooms were clean and cozy, and the bridal suit was stunning with a four poster bed which I didn't see in the picture as well as a bath tub in the bedroom. Thanks for a memorable stay. Lovely lovely pub, great beer selection, vibe and food.
I booked a table for friends to catch up over a drink as being so excited to be back at work this week and to have an early finish. To say service was slow was an understatement.... waited 40 minutes for the offered table service and ended up ordering on the app and it was still very slow. Really disappointed. I won't hurry back.Service: 1/5
Beer variety inc keg range enough to please anyone, real ale quality so far spot on, definitely a destination pub since refurb, good atmosphere, well done to the management team from Crafty Little Brewery at Brough!
Excellent pub; great beer, friendly staff, good for sport and occasional live music. Just my third 5 star venue in the UK; another in Hull, and one in Liverpool.
Great friendly pub. Good selection of drinks at a faor price for city centre. Add in the sports screens and pool table and you could spend most the night there.
