Absolutely amazing lunch at this lovely little pub on Christmas Day. Despite being early on arrival on what was a busy festive time at this restaurant, we were seated immediately and myself and my wife were provided with excellent customer service from the start. We had not long to wait before our starter came out and the soup was absolutely delicious , the Christmas dinner was cooked to perfection and plenty in quantity. We had continued fantastic service despite some of the staff being faced with derogatory comments by a flustered couple sitting close to us who were determined to complain about everything even down to the Christmas crackers at one point, but the staff took it in they’re stride and provided a room full of happy customers with a great time. We stayed for hours after dinner with people we had only just met and were over the moon to have had such a happy friendly and delicious experience at the Abadam arms, especially on Christmas Day !!! when we are next down from Aberystwyth this will be the first port of call for dinner!!! Five stars all the way!!

I stay here twice a week, and you couldn't wish for a nicer place. Always a warm welcome from Emma, and her sons Ben and Johnny. The room's are spot on, and the food is great.

Have eaten Sunday lunch here twice now. The quality and flavour of everything is excellent. The food is also well presented and very good value for money. Service is at the table. I highly recommend this place. I've also been told that their Wed. evening home-made burgers and their Thurs. Tapas evening is equally good. We're looking forward to trying both.

Christmas Day Ruined Paid £50/head . All food preordered told to be there for 1330 . Tables not laid out for lunch cheap crackers on the table . Ordered drinks one of the female guests asked for a glass of water and was given a pint glass . The wine that was pre ordered we were told it was not available then they founded it . Were told at 1415 that they had lost the preorders . When the starters came out the soup was cold . That was the final straw . We went to pay for the drinks we had and there as plain as day was our pre order in the open diary that the waitress was looking at . No offer of a refund for a shameful service .
