Amazing food, great service all washed down with a good selection of drinks. Parking was easy and the building looks plush and fresh. Will book again.

My friend John and myself had a really lovely meal at this recently refurbished inn. The cleanliness is second to none and there is also a small caravan site behind the pub.

Booked a lunchtime table to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The table was booked based on the only restaurant menu that is available online. On arriving at the venue we were given a totally different and sub standard menu offering meals such as burger and chips or sausage and mash which are not fit for a celebratory lunch. On complaining we were told that the menu I had seen online was for evening only. Even tho the waiter confirmed to us that all the ingredients to make the food on the evening menu were available and there were only 2 other small tables eating at the restaurant they refused to try and accommodate our needs and refused to offer even a small selection off the menu. The waiters were both very aloof and uninterested in trying to help remedy the misunderstanding. If it wasn’t for the Diplomat Hotel coming up trumps and saving the situation at last minute my parents anniversary would have been spoiled.
