Story

The Rose and Crown Hotel offers 9 en-suite bedrooms on a bed & breakfast tariff. This former coaching inn, in the centre of Carmarthen, underwent major renovation in 2005. All rooms are fully refurbished & decorated in a modern style. There is a choice of double twin and family rooms, all with wifi, sky tv, dvd, radio, tea and coffee making facilities. Our busy bar and restaurant provide quality ales and premium lagers, serving prime welsh steak, fish and seafood, quality local produce, and luscious desserts.

Lovely hotel and staff. A friendly welcome. Rooms quite warm so a fan in the room would have been welcomed. Breakfast was very nice. Nearest parking was pay and display or a maximum of 30 minutes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Nice clean place.  Nice staff.  Good free breakfast.  No working WiFi.  Parking is £1:60 every two hours from 8:00AM to 6:00PM and bring exact change. Very close to small shops and the castle.

My husband and I stayed three nights while visiting my sister in hospital and would stay again , staff were lovely and helpful and the food was excelent , room very clean could find no fault , my husband being Irish enjoyed the guinness . Thank you to all the staff.

Went for breakfast there, it was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very friendly service and clean facilities.

Nice food, friendly staff, fairly quick service. Stopped there for dinner on the off-chance and the three of us ate everything. Would eat at again.
