Poor! My Jeep went in for service and they had it for an entire week. I tried calling on the Friday when the car was due back but struggled to get hold of anyone. Eventually at 18:15 someone called me to say that they had forgotten about my car and they would not be able to return it until the Tuesday after the bank holiday. In addition, the battery on my new Jeep was Faulty from the start and it's taken them two years to finally admin that there is a fault and replace the battery.
Exceptional customer service from Bode, from start to finish super helpful, kind and got the job done! My JEEP is back to full health thank you so much!!
I bought a wrangler jeep in Oct last year , Vince in Sales was exceptional , kept me informed all through the process and took me on a test drive which was great. my experience in purchasing a vehicle was excellent . I did call several weeks later with a query and reception said someone in service would ring me back but never did! Five stars for Vince
Visited Jeep Slough TWICE this morning and neither the receptionist who was playing on her mobile and clearly was more interested on what she was doing on her phone than doing her job, as well as the only 2 guys who I assume are salesmen. I walked right past the one desk where they both were chatting and swearing about a client that couldn’t make it in today!! Really disappointing as I’ve been a loyal customer to both Fiat and Jeep for over 17 years and quit honestly the service is shocking. Management needs to sort it out as it’s not good for your reputation.
Arranged an appointment to test drive a Jeep Wrangler that had only 75 miles on the clock. When I got there, we we're given the keys to go for a test drive. The car itself was grubby inside crud all around the centre console including a left over tissue crumpled up. We took it anyway, got less than 100 metres down the road and the Jeep went into limp mode with the engine management light on. Took it back, Vince the Salesman came out with me and verified my experience. The Jeep couldn't be "reset", so we had wasted 4 hours and 130 mile round trip. I wouldn't present a £400 car like that, let alone a nearly £40k one! Got my deposit back and called it a day. Very poor. Thought I got my deposit back, it was refunded then taken back out again on the same day. Spoken by email and phone a few times, now 3 weeks later and STILL have not got my deposit back.. As a Main Dealer, it is disgraceful by anyones standard.
Fantastic service! I called in to get a brake check as another garage had said I needed new discs and pads. It turned out I have another 5,000 to 10,000 miles! I’m so glad I got a second opinion. I had phoned the parts department previously to get a quote for the work and they said I should bring the car in for a free check first. I’m so glad I did! I have time to save up now. The mechanic Michael was superb. He explained everything to me and then had it all written down too. And he arranged for my car to be cleaned. I’ll certainly be back in 5,000 miles.
Very disappointing. Brought a car four weeks ago, two weeks later had to send it back with problems on stop / start system and software issues. Rose, the attendant, told me I would have the car back in the maximum five days. I waited for two weeks then have it back. Again, one week later, the car still with a problem on the stop/start system. The team ensure it was all fixed but not fixed. I regretted buying this car as it was sold to me with problems and I'm not sure when I will get it fixed. Not suitable for a new car.
If I could give 10 stars I would. I've wanted a Wrangler since I was old enough to gawk at cars on the road and although i went to the furthest possible garage to get one, James at Slough came through with the goods. This year alone I'd rung 2 lease companies and 3 other garages asking them to source me a Wrangler Rubicon only to be told i would either have to wait till 2022 for a 21 model or to wait till the autumn. Finally I gave in and rung Jeep Slough 2.5 hours from me Within half an hour of that initial phone call James had told me he found a new Jeep, in the colour I wanted and that providing finances are right I could be driving it the following week. Well I'm writing this sat in my lovely Sarge Green Wrangler and couldn't be more pleased with how James dealt with all my questions and queries. He was available on the phone when I needed him and quick to call back if he was busy. For a smooth, informative and friendly car buying experience I would definitely recommend Thames Jeep Slough. Smiles all round.
So I have been back after a year and they have changed the battery, and the stop/start now works! What a surprise Bought a Jeep Compass in 2018 the stop/start has not worked for over a year, they had the car for 4 days back in December 2019 they said it could be a battery problem but didn't change it, the stop start still does not work. My car is due a service I called to book it in, I requested a courtesy car as live several miles away and was told they now charge £15 for one so really a courtesy car is a hire car! I won't be back.
Initial experience was good, maybe because they wanted my money. After care service is absolutely shocking. Discovered after 5 months I had been driving around my new Jeep with the wrong number plate, to be fair, they did send me the new number plates in the post so I could rectify this, but, the Jeep was supplied with a crease in the door which was supposed to be rectified, I am now months down the road and have had to involve Jeep Customer Service. They have deemed it is the dealers responsibility to pay to have this rectified, but, still waiting for them to do this. AFTER SALES CARE IS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING As a reply to the below reply, unfortunately I visited the local dealership last Saturday 28th September and they confirmed that you still had not authorised the pro forma invoice and still had not given the go ahead to my local dealer to carry out the work so unfortunately that statement/reply is wrong. If you would like to discuss this further you have my number, you are more than welcome to give me a call as I was getting absolutely nowhere at the beginning when this was brought to your attention and there were no replies forthcoming from you, I was told by your salesman that I HAD to open up the case myself with Jeep Customer Care, which I have since discovered was totally wrong, you should have rectified this and if necessary opened up a warranty claim if required.
