Amazing customer service! Worthy of note was Christie who unfortunately was not on the staff list on their website so I could give direct recognition for her customer service. Mia was also such a delight---a true smiling face at the front door.
No potato skins, dirty plates had to ask for clean ones no strawberry sauce, no cheesecake. Server was very friendly and fast so that was a highlight. Don't rate the vegetable fajitas at all, just onions and chillies and some baby corn. Gone down hill since last visited in 2019.
Love the food here. Steaks are to die for. Sadly on our last visit the steaks were not good, but the restaurant sorted that for us with no hassle. Apparently they are struggling for stock, and having to use different suppliers, which is obviously effecting the quality of the food. Having said that, the waiter said they should be back to normal soon, and have the original menu back on, and not the limited one they have at the minute. All covid related. Looking forward to returning soon for one of their rib eye steaks.
Went for my daughters birthday. My mum ordered a burger and chips, and when it arrived, with the other meals, it's was completely cold, both burger and chips. They replaced quickly. The servers were absolutely fantastic and really looked after us. Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves the kids menu, devours the whole meal quickly except the free veg sticks
Food was okay, decent and not overly expensive. I think they reduced the menu after covid as there's no hotdogs or anything.
Strange how we walked in to be told we needed to book online... A sense check confirmed that we were actual customers willing to pay money and our table appeared..... Lovely server who came over after we reminded them that we were actually there!! We just had drinks and mains. Ribs were really nice but the chicken bites in a tangy sauce were delicious. The coleslaw was warm to over warm by the way .. made me wonder how long our food was waiting before service brought it to us I do advise you to book online just in case you may appear not to be stood there when you go. Yeah, we would go again.... Maybe.. I know there is better and that's going to pull me away. Parking: It was a rainy Saturday... Avoid rainy Saturdays.
Got seated, the girl on door was very friendly as she took us to our seats but then we waited over 20 minutes for someone to finally come and take our orders even to get a drink whilst a number of the members of staff just walked around or had their own conversations. Customer Service was extremely poor on this occasion. VERY DISAPPOINTED as I usually love coming here. It wasn't that busy either.
Looks like there is a serious lack of management at this place. Not sure if we were there on a day that all new starters were working or all of the managers had a day off. The food itself was OK however the service was poor. Empty plates from the main courses sat around whilst desserts were delivered and even after asking for them removing, staff just walked past and left them. No ask of further drinks or coffees or teas after or during the meal either. Odd
We arrived as they opened the doors at 12pm, so very quiet. Server was lovely and took drinks and food order when we were ready but then it went downhill. After the starter we were waiting a good 20 mins. The main came out before clearing the table. Had to request clean cutlery. Glasses were empty but they didn't ask if we wanted another drink just think as a server it's common place to ask. When they brought my drink over the glass was filthy. Lipstick around the rim. When I went to the toilet, walking through the restaurant it was clear that basic housekeeping is lacking. Cleaning crates left on vacant tables. Food on the floor. Given the time we were there it must have been from the previous day Had to wave someone over for the bill because after bringing our cutlery they never came back to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. £89.50 for a lunchtime burgers for 3 people isn't cheap so I'd expect much more. The burgers were delicious but it really doesn't make up for the rest so I'm afraid we wouldn't return.
Went in to get a table, the 2 girls on the front desk one with blonde hair and one with black hair just looked at us as though we shouldn't be in there, we asked for a table for 2 which we were shown two. It wasn't very busy, after 10 min the waitress came over and we placed our order, after waiting 10 min we still hadn't got our drinks so I went to find somebody to ask where they were, they said that they would send a waitress over to take my order, I explained that I had already ordered I just wanted my drinks. When the food arrived it was nice but it was just let down with all the miserable staff standing around looking as though they didn't want to be there...
