Customer service really good they are really friendly
Standard tesco express however the security guard is incredibly rude. Arguing with customers in the queue in front of me and being incredibly rude to them, accusing them of things they had not done whilst letting groups of drunk people in together. Not enforcing the new face mask policy at all, laughing with customers that were not wearing them.
Open early and the only tesco in hitchin so quite useful. Not too big but has all you need, it's near the train station so you can pick up before you go on your journey. There's space for 2 cars to park and wait up front.
Awful customer service in general by more than one member of staff. No eye contact, feel like you're asking for the world when you need a bit of help. Quite rude too. Don't understand why people like this go into customer service. Not a fan of the automated machine and made a comment about it to one of the assistants, saying they don't beat actually being served by a person and she became quite argumentative with me... Was just trying to instigate a conversation. Now I always use the machines as at least they're not rude! Support your local store instead.
Not that great options for vegetarians. Security stopped flowing me around as i lost my rag with him.but think they have a new one. Mature lady in morninga buying backy holds on to it thinking im gonna run off without paying. Kind of embarrassing.
Absolutely vile staff popped in to pick up some desserts for myself and my husband and was told to get out of the store because i didn't have any ID on me. I wasn't even buying any alcohol!!!!!
Wouldn't let me in at 2 minutes before closing at 9pm. Then spent 2 minutes repeating that they were closed until 9pm before telling me it was 9pm and they were closed. This is the problem with globalisation. Its full of kids that are just trying to go home. Spend your money at a local shop.
Reasonable range of produce for a small store. Prices seem to be the same as bigger stores. Limited parking unless you sneak in from the Train Station's drop off carpark.
Fantastic service by the lady behind the till! Happy and friendly service even in these times must be hard for you all! Keep on smiling!
