Good quality and variety of produce for food shopping, there's fresh stands too for fish, sushi and cheese. Click and collect and refunds from John Lewis are easy to do. Cafe could do with an upgrade and more of a selection.nGreat wine selection too and I believe they do events too.
It is usually quiet in store, they do not move things around so you can always find them. Staff are very helpful and you get a free coffee with a Waitrose card. It is a bit more pricey than other stores but I find it to be a much more enjoyable experience to shop there.

I decided to give Waitrose Stevenage a try with delivering my groceries, I thought, lets see if the higher priced food is any better then their competitors. I sign up, get a monthly pass. An hour after my delivery slot is passed I called customer service, they inform me my order is coming from the smaller Hitchin branch. They tole me, they only have two delivery vans, yes Waitrose only have two delivery vans, and due to them not maintaing the vans correctly, one broke down. I then had the reliable giant to come in 20 minutes and fulfill the order. I was refunded my non-delivery pass and the £250 order that broke down. I cancelled the delivery pass renewal. Waitrose are the worst groceries delivery in Stevenage and Hitchin. The hassle and the fact the useless app did not tell me, no email to let me know. Stay Away from waitrose non-delivery service, there is no delivery service!
A review of the shop, which is what it is all about and not the parking, which is actually fine just a lot of raging entitled middle class folk. Good value and treat you like a real customer.
