Being a fan of contemporary art, I always make sure to visit this gallery when I am near the South Bank.nnI spent a few hours exploring the massive Turbine Hall and the various free collections throughout the building.nThe scale of the industrial architecture is breathtaking, and the selection of modern art is always thought provoking.nnMy favorite highlight is definitely the viewing level, as it offers some of the best panoramic views of the Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Great contemporary artwork as part of the collection to view free of charge. There are also ticketed options to view. I recommend taking the lift to the 10th floor to enjoy a spectacular view of the city, especially St. Paul’s.nThere is a cafe there but with very little seating available.
This a place I always enjoy coming back from time to time.nIt’s such a beautiful piece of architectural design and holds an amazing collection of history, culture and art.nThe exhibitions are well done and always such a pleasure to see the different styles and features presented.nLocated right next to the southbank is a bonus.nA worthy visit for sure.
I had a pretty good time at Tate Modern! The exhibits were really interesting and thought-provoking. I especially enjoyed the unique installations, like the one made of black slate pieces and the other with numerous white objects. It's a fantastic place for art lovers.
