Very good contemporary art gallery on Westminster Bridge Road. The space comprises galleries on the ground floor and in the basement, which can be accessed via a lift. The current exhibition which runs until 28 October 2023 is entitled Embodied and features works by Sokari Douglas Camp, Sonia E Barrett, Camilla Dilshat, Ahyeon Ryu, Adaesi Ukairo and Hannah Uzor. It is very interesting and well worth a visit. It includes a sizeable work in a street garden across the road from the gallery.
The program of exhibitions and events supports the creative development of artists working in all art forms and at all stages of their careers. The gallery showcases new ideas and diverse perspectives.
Morley is a well proportioned, intimate gallery. The Tadek exhibition was beautifully displayed in a way which showed of the vibrancy and range of the artists work. The decor and staff are first class and the floor something to behold. Thanks for a lovely experience.
Wonderful place so relaxed and informal and free! Currently has outstanding exhibition called Women's Work showing a wide variety of women artists past and present from the relatively unknown Grace Golden to Barbara Hepworth.
Really lovely exhibition space, nice fittings and a beautiful wood block floor. Such a great range of ceramic work that it was so tempting to spend a fortune.
Lovely refurbished exhibition space filled with light. Cracking ceramics group show by ceramicists who teach at Morley College. Some lucky students there.
Friendly gallery in SE1 with regularly changing diverse exhibitions including Morley college course shows.
Great exhibition of war artists. Most enjoyable. Refectory in the college isn't bad either for a bite afterwards.
