Super affordable tea room with pleasant staff! Came here with my wife on a Sunday early afternoon and it was pretty busy good sign!. We sat down after 15 minutes and both got their afternoon tea. The quality of the sandwiches and cakes was very high! The portions were quite generous, as well. It was the perfect start to our Sunday afternoon! Parking: Look for parking on Wellington Rd!
Tara's Tea Room was a lovely stop in Cork, the service was amazing. Always on hand to serve you but not in your face. They were so so lovely. The food was incredible and the environment and atmosphere was so beautiful and quirky and just what you want from afternoon tea. Truly loved our visit. Food: 5/5
Cosy comfortable and cute. Traditional style tea room with a good variety of teas and a pretty good menu including all day breakfast. We had the quiche which was nice but slightly overdone. Prices are reasonable and staff are pleasant
My favourite place to go when I'm just in the mood for a cute little tea!! They serve you in the most beautiful teacups and saucers. It's a great place to sit and chat over a tea and cake! They also offer ample gluten free options! My only issue is how busy it gets, but thats what you get with running a great business!Food: 5/5
Great cafe with a cute breakfast. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast and Irish breakfast - both were great. There's limited seating but they take reservations so we'd recommend calling ahead on weekends.Food: 5/5
Excellent tea, excellent eggs, such a cute shop and always the perfect ambiance for a place like this as it’s always raining in Ireland. Service was so fast & friendly, I highly recommend this place!
Visited Tara's for afternoon tea. The staff were kind, the atmosphere was calm, and the space was adorable. The food and the tea choices were all wonderful, and my table enjoyed everything they ordered!

Delighted we waited ‘til opening time Sunday morning to experience the fantastic breakfast at Tara’s gorgeous tea room’s, the staff were absolutely amazing and extremely helpful to accommodate our needs. The coffee was to die for and not to mention the delicious fresh breakfast made to order, this is one restaurant I would totally recommend and it’s one not to pass. Very reasonably priced also and the comfort second to none. Well done all round guys 100% We will be back Liz & Ed A
Had a wonderful afternoon tea at Tara's Tea Room. Staff were all very welcoming, friendly and kind. There is a lovely atmosphere there; gorgeous mismatched tea cups and saucers, pretty and quirky decorations. We found the food to be absolutely delicious and the coffee was wonderful. The afternoon tea was made up of three tiers: sandwiches chosen by us from the lunch menu; mini scones with butter, jam and cream; and five mini cakes. I would love to return to Tara's Tea Room! I would recommend booking a table as it was quite busy we were there on a Friday afternoon.
