Great for breakfast or brunch. Really attentive, warm and friendly staff. Always a great laid back sound track that helps time slow down a little while you enjoy a superb breakfast, with fresh, local ingredients, cooked to perfection. Top marks for atmosphere, taste, speed and friendliness.
Great portions for a reasonable price. I ordered a French toast and decided to add an order of sausages, which I ended up, not eating because of portions were large. We went in with two adults and a stroller buggy and sta inside- small space but was just enough. The service was great and so was the holiday cheer. We will define coming back to the place. The toilets are located outside.
Nice little cafe Indoor seating and outdoor seating with covering available. It’s not a huge space and it is very popular so it fills pretty quickly Had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup, it was a very generous portion. Coffee is very nice They have seasonal treats on offer - cakes and sweet pastries Would recommend if you were in early in town

I only ordered a coffee but as I went outside to sit, I was served perhaps 10 seconds later: excellent service. Coffee was lovely: I didn't ask about their house blend, but it was a rich, dark, strong affair, exactly what I needed. The interior is cozy and low-lit, with nice music. Nice atmosphere.
Laidback Cafe, buzzing with people eating lunch or just having coffee & cake. Friendly staff to guide you through the short menu and long list of fresh cakes. Salad special was full of flavour and brown bread was freshly homemade. Delighted to see the institution on Caroline Street still going strong under new ownership.

If I could give zero stars I would; Sausages were grey whilst being charged an extra four euro for even though that was nowhere on the menu nor informed to me prior. The cheese provided was majority formed from the wax shell of the cheese - horrendous. Other then that is was a basic bap with rashers which any other food vendor in cork does so much better.
Had really nice brunch here yesterday. We both had the French toast and it was delicious! The bacon serving was the best I've ever seen, will definitely be back just for that! Nice coffee and the man working there was extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend, especially if you can get an outside table
Just had eggs on toast with some extra mushrooms. Was absolutely delicious. Lovely waitresses working there. Very reasonable pricesFood: 5/5
