Another trip to take whilst in Wales is the narrow gauge Ffestiniog railway service from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog. The route travels to Porthmadog around 13 miles although we traveled just 2 stops. Probably one of the most scenic rides in the UK. Beautiful carriages with hand built tables and comfortable seating.
In a quiet and beautiful village right next to the lovely lakeside cafe! Very clean, this is a request stop, you just stick your hand out, literally! Beautiful views all around and friendly people, happy to help.
