They serve 16/17 year olds who get rowdy and cause fights. The staff were nice about the whole situation hence 1 star instead of 2 but definitely shouldn’t visit unless you want to hang out with a bunch of young kids.
What a great place to stay on a budget. I was working on Anglesey and in Conwy over the last few months. Close proximity to Llanberis and Snowdon and Conwy 25-30 minutes away. The pub downstairs is friendly and the food is lovely. I’m there for the next couple of weeks and will be sad to leave.
Popped in for a quick pint walking back from Llanberis lovely clean local with welcoming landlord and landlady. Definitely be calling in for a few next time we're at the caravan.
A friendly pub with good atmosphere. Food was good too. Rooms are basic, kitchen is basic. 2 stars is because we offered to pay when we popped into book the room at lunchtime, told don’t worry pay later. So later we return, drop bags, go to bar for food. Offer to pay again, told “I’ll have to check with manager as that needs to be cash” hear nothing. Try again to pay before bed. No joy. So as up early for climbing ‍ decided that we would leave cash on bar. No need because unbelievably at 01:00 we get a persistent knock on the bedroom door …… To flipping well pay! Could of knocked a lot lot earlier
Basic accommodation over village pub. Airbnb Big bedroom, well equipped large kitchen for self catering. Pub food available I think, I didn't eat there.
Great pub, with a fantastic and lively atmosphere. We played here recently at an 80s night and had a lot of fun.
Friendly local pub with good beer and food. Service is always welcoming and the meals are basic pub food like chilli, spaghetti Bolognese, burgers etc but all are tasty and reasonable value. We ate there twice and didn't wait longer than 20 minutes. Tried the pizza, gammon and chips, Bolognese, chicken bites and chilli. All were good. Dogs are welcome and there's somewhere to sit outside, plus a pool table.
Nice pub which looks a bit grotty on the outside but is great inside. Drinks are really reasonably priced and staff are great
Stop here for two nights in one of the four bed rooms , great base for all the attractions. The staff are brilliant really friendly, the food is excellent a real good honest pub . Definitely go back for another stay .
