A lovely, peaceful campsite in the heart of Talybont with very friendly and helpful owners. Camping sites divided into fields for DofE teams, caravans with abundant power points and camping. Lots of standpipes around the fields. Toilet block very well maintained and even includes hair dryers and a pay as you go washing machine. 2 mins from local shop around the corner. Great little place to stay very clean and well maintained. Friendly owners and beautiful setting. Nice flat fields with electric hook ups right in the village, which has a great little shop and bike hire place as well as pub on the canal all within walking distance. Would recommend this site, so good we booked to stay again later in the summer.
Our first visit to this beautiful site but definitely not our last. Immaculately maintained, central to the village with pubs and shop. A perfect base for walking and cycling, see you again soon. Thank you for a lovely welcome.
One of the best campsites we have ever stayed in. This was our third visit and it was still as good as our first. The pitches are very spacious, the location is stunning, the facilities are clean and well maintained and the atmosphere is so peaceful. It just ticks all the right boxes for us. I’m sure that we will be back for a fourth visit!
Excellent site, nice welcome. Fourth visit says it all. With level grass pitch ehu water close, and warm clean facilities. Good local shop and walk along canal. I expect we will be back.
The most tranquil, picturesque and spacious campsite we've experienced yet in the Brecons. We stumbled across this place, and would definitely come back again! So much room on the campsite, lovely scenery and with 2 pubs, a shop and canal within stones throw you can't go wrong! Owners left us to it. We asked for a second night spontaneously which they had no problem with. Great facilities as well. Amazing stay!
Great place, peaceful and lovely. A stream next to the campsite and lots of walks in the hills or along the canal too. A few great pubs close by and a nice shop and cafe
Beautiful little village and lovely place to stay. We camped for two nights from 24 to 26 September 21. Weather was kind to us! Just 1.5 hour's drive from home, all the facilities we needed were there: showers, toilets, hair dryers, shaver points and utility room fridge and washing machine. We had breakfast in the local cafe and dinners at each of the two local pubs. Great food and very friendly and efficient service in the cafe and Star Inn, both of which we'd highly recommend. Lovely walks too. We bought a few maps from the local shop £1 each and completed two of the walks, which we all enjoyed. We will definitely return, just as soon as our dog recovers!! **stayed again 5 to 8 May 22 and will be returning again September!
It's a fantastic setting, beautiful views and decent pitch spacing but... there are over 45 pitches with only 2 loos/shower per sex which is not enough queues for loo and showers when busy. Facilities floor not very clean. Electric pitch price is high plus you have to pay extra for awning £2 per night then then dog £2 per night. Loved our stay but luckily not here at the weekend. Should be much cleaner and better for the price charged.
Lovely, well kept campsite with good facilities. The owners were warm and friendly. I stayed mid week, so it was very quiet. :
